This annual symposium brought together influential speakers and leaders from industry, the regulator, academic research and the health and safety profession at Curtin University, to facilitate progress and partnerships across multiple industry sectors for the common purpose – creating safer healthier work.

The Perth Safety Symposium included experts in the field, including a presentation from Sally North, Acting WorkSafe Commissioner on The State of WHS in WA, and a presentation from Dr Ivor Roberts, Executive Director at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, Western Australia on WorkSafe: The Way Forward. Discussing the latest developments in workplace safety, and the challenges and opportunities facing the health and safety profession aligned with the recently released National WHS Strategy 2023-2033.
